The CUPRA Raval VZ Custom by ABT brings sharper bodywork to the 2026 Paris Motor Show, while retaining the electric hot hatch's existing motor output. CUPRA opens configurator orders for selected Raval variants at the end of November 2026. Electrifying reports deliveries from January 2027.
The timing supports a successful launch. CUPRA reports more than 50,000 Raval orders since April and almost 15,000 deliveries, giving its ABT partnership a substantial potential customer base.
What Does the ABT Styling Package Change?
The CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT package borrows design cues from the UrbanRebel concept. Front and rear splitters, side skirts and winglets create a visually lower stance; CUPRA describes a styling change rather than additional suspension lowering.
| Component | Standard VZ reference | ABT package |
|---|---|---|
| Wheels | 19-inch alloys; 235/40 R19 tyres | Exclusive Sport Black Matt 19-inch alloys |
| Lower bodywork | Production VZ styling | Front/rear splitters and side skirts |
| Roof spoiler | Production design | More prominent spoiler and winglets |
| Identification | CUPRA branding | ABT lettering and standard Dark Chrome CUPRA logos |
CUPRA Racing Factory handcrafts the package for new-car orders. In addition, authorised CUPRA specialists can install it through the dealer network after purchase. CUPRA has not published downforce figures or an ABT-specific range result, so buyers should avoid assuming an aerodynamic efficiency gain.
Raval VZ Specifications: The Powertrain Stays Familiar
The front-wheel-drive electric hot hatch produces 166 kW (226 PS) and 290 Nm. Specifically, its motor maintains maximum torque from zero to 5,466 rpm, supporting immediate response without waiting for engine speed to rise.
The VZ's electronic limited-slip differential manages torque between the front wheels to improve traction through corners. DCC Sport adjusts damping, while the standard sport chassis sits 15 mm lower than the platform reference.
| Published specification | Raval Endurance | Raval VZ |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum power | 155 kW / 211 PS | 166 kW / 226 PS |
| Maximum torque | 290 Nm | 290 Nm |
| 0-100 km/h | 7.1 seconds | 6.8 seconds |
| Net battery capacity | 52 kWh | 52 kWh |
| WLTP range | 413-446 km | 379-440 km |
| WLTP consumption | 13.6-14.8 kWh/100 km | 13.8-16.2 kWh/100 km |
| Peak DC charging | 105 kW | 105 kW |
| DC charge, 10-80% | 24 minutes | 24 minutes |
These figures describe the standard cars. By comparison, the VZ trades some range for stronger acceleration. CUPRA's technical sheet lists a 4,046 mm body, 2,599 mm wheelbase and 441-litre boot.
Should You Buy the ABT Kit?
Buy it for its appearance. CompleteCar.ie estimates €1,500-€2,000 for the package, rather than confirming a final local price.
Pro-Tips:
- Request an installed quote covering labour, taxes and variant compatibility.
- Check the ordered car's WLTP figure rather than using the range maximum.
- Confirm early-2027 equipment: CUPRA separately plans up to 190 km/h and reversing assistance over 50 metres; the ABT kit alone does not establish those specifications.
