Mercedes-Benz has rebuilt its smallest SUV around an electric-first plan. Front occupants gain 7 mm (0.3 inch) of legroom, while rear occupants gain 38 mm (1.5 inches). Maximum headroom rises by 23 mm (0.9 inch) in front and 24 mm (0.9 inch) in back. For trip planning, do not budget around the full 657-km WLTP figure. Use roughly 80 percent, or about 526 km (327 miles), as an initial mild-weather mixed-driving allowance, then reduce it for sustained high speed, low temperatures, roof loads or towing.
