The iconic Renault Clio, a mainstay in the subcompact hatchback segment, has undergone a significant makeover for the 2024 model year. This mid-cycle update aims to keep the Clio competitive against rivals like the Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Fabia, and SEAT Ibiza.
Striking New Look
The most noticeable change is the Clio's completely redesigned front fascia. Slimmer headlights flank a wider grille featuring a unique checkerboard pattern that echoes the Renault logo. The new daytime running lights, shaped like half an upright rhombus, add a distinctive touch. Renault has also brought back clear taillights, a design element that is re-emerging in the automotive world.
Esprit Alpine: A Sporty New Addition
The 2024 Renault Clio introduces the Esprit Alpine trim, replacing the outgoing RS Line. This flagship variant boasts a sportier look with a unique diffuser design and, depending on the chosen powertrain and trim level, one of six available diffuser options.
Interior Refresh with a Sustainable Focus
The interior of the 2024 Clio has been subtly refreshed with a focus on sustainable materials. Leather upholstery has been replaced with a new material called TEP, which is made from a combination of organic and polyester fibers. The Clio also features a new digital instrument cluster available in 7-inch and 10-inch sizes, alongside a touchscreen infotainment system offered in 7-inch and 9.3-inch configurations.
