The plug-in hybrid SUV market is getting crowded, with many brands offering their own versions of electrified family vehicles. The battery allows the SUV to travel up to 34 miles on electric power alone, according to the WLTP cycle. The C5 Aircross Hybrid offers four driving modes: Electric, Hybrid, Sport, and Comfort. In Electric mode, the SUV can reach speeds of up to 84 mph without using a gasoline engine. In Hybrid mode, the powertrain automatically switches between electric and gasoline power depending on the driving conditions and the battery level.
