Vauxhall has revealed the latest versions of its popular Vivaro and Vivaro Electric vans, which offer improved efficiency, performance, and technology for 2024. The new models feature a refreshed design, new engines, and a range of advanced driver assistance and safety systems.
New design and engines for the Vivaro and Vivaro Electric
The new Vauxhall Vivaro and Vauxhall Vivaro Electric vans have a more modern and dynamic appearance, with a revised front grille, bumper, and headlights. The vans also have new LED daytime running lights, rear lights, and alloy wheel designs and colors.
The new Vivaro has a choice of two diesel engines and one petrol engine, all of which comply with the latest Euro 6d emissions standards. The diesel engines are a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit with 100 hp or 120 hp, and a 2.0-litre turbocharged unit with 150 hp or 180 hp. The petrol engine is a 1.2-litre turbocharged unit with 110 hp. All engines are paired with a six-speed manual gearbox except for the 180-hp diesel, which comes with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The new Vauxhall Vivaro Electric is powered by a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor and a choice of two battery sizes: 50 kWh or 75 kWh. The 50 kWh battery offers a driving range of up to 143 miles, while the 75 kWh battery offers a range of up to 205 miles, according to the WLTP test cycle. The Vauxhall Vivaro Electric can be charged from 0 to 80% in as little as 32 minutes using a 100 kW rapid charger or in 7 hours and 30 minutes using a 7.4 kW wallbox.
