New Hyundai IONIQ 6 First Edition electric sedan sold out

New Hyundai IONIQ 6 First Edition electric sedan sold out

On Wednesday morning, Hyundai started pre-sales of the IONIQ 6 in a few select European markets, and the response from Norwegian buyers was overwhelming. Shortly after they went on sale, the IONIQ 6 First Edition was sold out in four minutes, and all available Biophilic Blue models were purchased.

Unveiling a brand-new device, especially one as innovative as the IONIQ 6, is always a thrilling experience. The popularity of the Hyundai IONIQ 5 has exceeded all expectations. The Hyundai IONIQ 6 went on preorder yesterday, and it's expected to become a best-seller, according to Hyundai's Product and PR Manager.

Then it comes to features, the Hyundai IONIQ 6 doesn't skimp. It's a superb design, full of ingenious features that work together to provide an impressively long battery life. With its innovative electric car platform, the cabin is as roomy as the IONIQ 5 and provides a high level of comfort for the driver and passengers.

The demand for the IONIQ 6 First Edition has considerably outpaced the supply. Those unable to pre-purchase a Hyundai IONIQ 6 First Edition but have now placed an order will be given precedence once regular IONIQ 6 sales have begun. If you're next in line for a First Edition vehicle and someone cancels their order, you can still get lucky and get one.

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 is a big all-electric sedan with streamlined aerodynamics. It is the second model in Hyundai's dedicated electric model series, IONIQ. The IONIQ 6's cabin is large and pleasant thanks to the vehicle's 4,855-millimeter length and 2,950-millimeter wheelbase. The electric car has a low and class-leading noise level thanks to double-laminated windows, an acoustic windscreen, and many clever solutions, which, along with the attractive and cutting-edge interior, guarantee a very high degree of comfort. Aside from that, the IONIQ 6 has a complete set of equipment that includes every safety and convenience feature on the market today.

The all-electric sedan is equipped with innovative Highway Driving Assist 2 technology, which allows it to do several autonomous driving tasks, such as parking via remote control technology and changing lanes without human intervention (HDA 2). The broad equipment package includes navigation-based intelligent cruise control, a camera display of the blind area, a file holder, and a surround-view camera.

When regular sales of the IONIQ 6 begin, the premium model will be made available to consumers at no additional cost. You may also pick between rear-wheel drive and high-tech HTRAC four-wheel drive, and a 77.4 kWh long-range battery pack is included as standard equipment.

The vehicle's foundation is the E-GMP, a cutting-edge, specialized electric vehicle platform developed by Hyundai Motor Group (Electric-Global Modular Platform, the same platform is also used by Kia EV6 GT electric crossover). Since it is designed with the client in mind and features ample internal space, it naturally features many cutting-edge innovations. The IONIQ 6's standard 18-inch wheels, rear-wheel drive, and long-range battery pack give it a maximum electric range of up to 614 kilometers (WLTP). When equipped with four-wheel drive, large (18-inch) wheels, and the Long Range battery pack, you may go an incredible 583 kilometers before recharge.

First Edition buyers also receive free access to IONITY Premium, Europe's best fast charging network, for a whole year. Over 400,000 charge points are free through Hyundai's European charging network, Charge my Hyundai.

The IONIQ 6 First Edition model comes with a Long Range battery pack, 20-inch wheels, and AWD, and it can travel up to 519 kilometers on a single charge.

Limited to only 2,500 units, the IONIQ 6 First Edition went on sale worldwide yesterday. Hyundai's primary EV markets (including Germany, the UK, France, the Netherlands, and Norway).
