The standard retail prices for Hyundai's newest electric vehicle, the Ioniq 6 electric sedan, were announced. Hyundai Motor began pre-selling the Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition earlier this month, and within hours, all units had been purchased. The Biophilic Blue automobiles were gone in just a few minutes.
Hyundai announced that regular production models of their spacious and stylish electric car will be available for sale at very affordable prices beginning today.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is a big all-electric sedan with streamlined aerodynamics, and it is the second model in Hyundai's dedicated electric model series, Ioniq. The Ioniq 6's cabin is particularly roomy and luxurious thanks to the vehicle's 4,855-millimeter length and 2,950-millimeter wheelbase. The car's noise level is low and among the lowest in its class, thanks to double-laminated windows, an acoustic windscreen, and many other clever solutions; this, along with the sleek and cutting-edge cabin, makes for an exceptional travel experience. In addition to its great performance, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 has a full set of equipment.
Smart remote parking and high-tech Highway Driving Assist 2 make it possible for the automobile to do a variety of autonomous maneuvers (HDA 2). The broad equipment package includes features such as navigation-based smart cruise control, a camera display of the blind spot, a file holder, and a surround-view camera.
In addition, you may select between rear-wheel drive and high-tech HTRAC four-wheel drive, and a 77.4 kWh long-range battery pack is included as standard equipment.
The cutting-edge, specialized electric vehicle platform (Electric-Global Modular Platform) used in the construction of this vehicle was developed by Hyundai Motor Group. Therefore, in addition to its customer-focused design and roomy interior, it is also equipped with a wide range of cutting-edge innovations. The Hyundai Ioniq 6 boasts a very long electric range of up to 614 kilometers when equipped with the Long Range battery pack, rear-wheel drive, and 18-inch wheels (standard). There is a remarkable 583-kilometer range when equipped with the Long Range battery pack, four-wheel drive, and 18-inch wheels (WLTP).
The aerodynamic construction contributes to the impressive range. Ingenious design solutions like the low front, active air dampers, and so-called wheel gap reducers, which minimize drag in the front wheel arches, allow the Ioniq 6 to achieve a drag coefficient of just 0.21 CD. The Ioniq 6's design was inspired by a cocoon, providing its occupants with a sense of security and privacy. The car's interior is full of eco-friendly materials, there's plenty of space for passengers, and the car includes various clever features that make everyday life easier.
Prices start at 47,000 euros (plus delivery) for the Hyundai Ioniq 6, including the Premium trim, rear-wheel drive, and Long Range battery pack. Starting at 50,200 euros, the four-wheel drive models (plus delivery). There are also optional add-ons such as 20-inch wheels, an electronic glass moonroof, and a digital rearview mirror included in the Vision Pack Plus.
