Nissan is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of the Nissan Ariya, a new crossover SUV that promises to combine performance, technology, and design. The ARIYA will be available in four different versions, including a new entry-level model and a performance-oriented model.
The entry-level version of the Nissan Ariya will have a 63 kWh battery and a single electric motor that delivers 215 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. It will have a range of 223 miles on a single charge and a top speed of 99 mph. The entry-level ARIYA will start at $40,000.
The performance version of the Ariya will have an 87 kWh battery and a dual electric motor that delivers 389 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. It will have a range of 211 miles on a single charge and a top speed of 124 mph. The performance ARIYA will start at $58,000.
Both versions of the Ariya will feature Nissan's e-4ORCE all-wheel drive system, which uses regenerative braking to optimize traction and stability. They will also feature Nissan's ProPILOT Assist 2.0, which is a semi-autonomous driving system that can handle steering, acceleration, and braking on highways.
The Nissan Ariya will also have a sleek and futuristic design, with a V-shaped grille, thin LED headlights and taillights, and a coupe-like roofline. The interior will have a minimalist and spacious cabin with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The Nissan ARIYA will also have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a wireless charging pad, and a head-up display.
The Ariya will be one of the first vehicles to use Nissan's new logo, which is designed to reflect the company's transformation and innovation. The logo will be illuminated on the front and rear of the vehicle, as well as on the wheels and the charging port.
