The Aston Martin Valen takes Aston Martin's front-mid-engined V12 platform in a sharper, lighter direction. Q by Aston Martin and the new Special Vehicle Operations department created a full carbon-fibre body, a model-specific cockpit and the strongest front-mounted production engine in the marque's 113-year history. Aston Martin will build only 150 cars and begin deliveries in Q2 2027.
Looking at the data, the 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 supercar produces 850 PS (625 kW/838 hp) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) from 2,500 rpm. An eight-speed ZF automatic sends power to the rear wheels through a carbon-fibre propeller shaft and a 135-millisecond electronic limited-slip differential. Aston Martin quotes 0-60 mph in 3.0 seconds and caps speed at 345 km/h (214 mph), but its official 0-100 km/h figure remains TBC.

How the Chassis Converts Power Into Control
From an expert perspective, Aston Martin targeted mass at the points that most affect response:
- Carbon-fibre panels cut 25 kg.
- The titanium exhaust removes 14.8 kg.
- Magnesium wheels remove 6.0 kg of unsprung mass.
- Optional aluminium suspension parts and titanium bolts save 16.9 kg.
Consequently, the Bilstein DTX semi-active dampers control each wheel more closely over broken surfaces, while a solid-mounted rear subframe and model-specific springs reduce roll and pitch. Specifically, Sport and Sport+ use a shorter throttle map for earlier response; Track lengthens pedal progression for finer control near the grip limit. GT4-derived shift logic also speeds up changes without replacing the proven ZF hardware.
In addition, Pirelli Cyber Tyre technology feeds live tread-temperature data to the ESP, ABS and traction systems. That input lets the control software adjust brake balance, stopping response and corner-exit traction using information from the contact patch.
Aston Martin Valen vs V12 Rivals
By comparison, Valen follows a purist front-engine, rear-drive route while Lamborghini adds plug-in hybrid power and all-wheel drive.
| Model | Powertrain | Output | Torque | 0-100 km/h | Top speed |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aston Martin Valen | 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 | 850 PS | 1,000 Nm | TBC | 345 km/h |
| Aston Martin Vanquish | 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 | 835 PS | 1,000 Nm | 3.3 sec | 345 km/h |
| Ferrari 12Cilindri | 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 | 830 PS | 678 Nm | 2.9 sec | Over 340 km/h |
| Lamborghini Revuelto SV | 6.5-litre V12 plug-in hybrid | 1,065 PS | 1,425 Nm system | 2.4 sec | Over 345 km/h |
The Revuelto SV wins the output and acceleration contest, and Ferrari 12Cilindri claims a quicker 0-100 km/h time. Valen counters with 15 PS more than Vanquish, up to 110 kg less mass than Aston Martin's core V12 platform and a 150-car production cap.
Price, Orders and the Smart Buyer Check
How Much Does the Aston Martin Valen Cost?
Aston Martin has not announced official Euro pricing. The company also continues EU mass, fuel-consumption and CO2 homologation, so buyers still lack enough data to establish registration-tax exposure in emissions-based markets.
Pro-Tip
Before signing a build contract, ask the supplying dealer for written confirmation of the final Euro price, EU unladen mass, WLTP CO2 figure, circuit-use warranty terms and replacement availability for the model-specific tyres.
