The new Opel Grandland is equipped with cutting-edge technology and support systems that make driving more pleasant, convenient, and, most importantly, safe. One of these technologies is the Night Vision system, which demonstrates its full capabilities during the winter months of continuous darkness and low vision.
The Opel Grandland SUV is the brand's first vehicle to have an anticipatory night vision system. It assists – together with the adaptable Intelli Lux LED Pixel light – in assisting Opel Grandland drivers in seeing people and animals that frequently vital second earlier. Both technologies effectively convert night to day and boost road user safety at dusk and in the dark.
Opel's electrification strategy is also continuing consistently with the new Opel Grandland, which is offered in two plug-in hybrid versions: the system power of the Opel Grandland Hybrid is 165 kW / 224 hp; maximum torque is 360 Nm (fuel consumption in the combined WLTP cycle: 1.4-1.3 l / 100 km, CO2 emissions 32-30 g / km; efficiency class A +). Power is sent to the front axle via the smooth eight-speed automatic transmission.
The 4x4 version features an additional electric motor on the rear axle, which allows the Opel Grandland Hybrid4 to offer a system output of as much as 221 kW / 300 hp and a maximum torque of 520 Nm. In the proposed entry version for 30,200 euros, the new Opel Grandland boasts numerous state-of-the-art assistance systems.
The standard equipment includes Accident Warning with Automatic Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Recognition, Traffic Sign Recognition, Driver's Fatigue Recognition System, and Cruise Control System with Intelligent Limiter. The driver and passengers can also have the Pure Panel, the fully digital driver's seat. Smartphones easily connect to infotainment systems via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
The Opel Grandland has the optional IntelliLux LED Pixel adaptive headlights with 168 LED elements featured for the first time on the Opel Grandland and the Night Vision system. In addition, the brand's new face, the Opel Vizor, stands out on the new Opel Grandland.
