Timeless Italian design updated in Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio

Timeless Italian design updated in Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio

Alfa Romeo introduces two new updated models: the new Alfa Romeo Giulia and the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio. The two Alfa Romeos, noted for their gorgeous design and superb driving characteristics in their respective segments (the D-segment and the D-SUV segment), have updated design features and technology.

The "Scudetto" grille and lower air intakes are referred to as the "Trilobo" front and are seen on all Alfa Romeo models. The distinctive front of the Giulia and the Stelvio has received new air intake grilles. Adding "3+3" adaptive full-LED Matrix headlamps has given the cars' "face" a significant facelift, emphasizing the kinship with the new Tonale. The matrix lights are adaptable LED units that illuminate the road with a bright, persistent high beam without dazzling oncoming traffic or road users in front of them. The new 3+3 headlights pay homage to earlier Alfas, including the classic Alfa Romeo SZ Zagato and the Alfa Romeo Proteo concept car. LED taillights have been added to the Stelvio and Giulia, which are contained in clear glass and smoked glass with a black finish.

The instrument panel of the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio includes a fresh new 12.3-inch TFT screen where all information about the drive can be accessible. The screen has three layout options: Evolved, Relax, and Heritage. Evolved symbolizes Alfa Romeo's future design, focusing on the middle of the screen. Relax is designed for relaxation and just provides the most important driving information. Heritage boasts a traditional layout inspired by the brand's historical models from the 1960s and 1970s.

Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio

Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio include a linked infotainment system. So they may now be updated online directly from the car, and you can operate numerous of the car's functions from a distance using a smartphone and the "My Remote" app. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Giulia now have NFT (Non-Fungible-Token) technology, just like the Alfa Romeo Tonale. This blockchain technology functions as an encrypted and immutable digital database in which all information and usage of the individual car are logged and saved. The owner can easily determine whatever data from the car's digital database (NFT) is relevant and issue a certificate based on the selections. The certificate is especially useful in acquiring and selling a used Alfa Romeo. The owner may demonstrate that the vehicle has been maintained and cared for following all requirements, ensuring a high residual value. As a result, the buyer is guaranteed that the vehicle in issue is a good bargain. Alfa Romeo was the first company to offer this technology.

Lightweight materials such as aluminum (in the engine) and carbon (in the drive shaft) have been employed to further improve the dynamic driving qualities of the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio.

Four-wheel drive with Q4 technology: is intended to forecast, correct for, and manage a lack of road grip, assuring maximum performance, efficiency, and safety. The Active Transfer Case (ATC) is a crucial component of the Q4 system that analyzes road grip and driver input in real-time to ensure optimal performance. The technology operates as a pure rear-wheel drive system. Still, if the car loses traction, the system reacts 150 milliseconds and transfers up to 50% of the engine's torque to the front wheels to ensure the most effective propulsion possible.

Alfa Link suspension: Contributes to a more dynamic driving experience. The Alfa Romeo Giulia and the Stelvio use double wishbone suspension with a semi-virtual steering axis on the front axle, which maximizes the rapid and precise steering reaction. Both models use an Alfa Romeo-patented four-and-a-half-arm multilink system on the rear axle, blends sporty driving qualities with comfort.

The Integrated Brake System (IBS) is an electromechanical system that combines stability control and the braking system, ensuring immediate brake reaction, shortening braking distance, and significantly reducing weight. Furthermore, the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Alfa Romeo Stelvio incorporate brake-by-wire to further lighten the cars and reduce component complexity. Both versions offer direct steering, and when combined with an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox with aluminum paddle shifters behind the wheel, unrivaled excitement is guaranteed. Both vehicles offer a variety of active electronic driver assistance devices to help them while driving.

Like the Alfa Romeo Tonale, the new Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio feature a limited model lineup. It has two levels: Super and Ten. The Super is the base model, which may be modified with the Sprint Pack to give the car a more sporty appearance. Ti has more equipment and is more concerned with exquisite expression. If you want to add extra sporty qualities and character to the Ti, you may get the Veloce pack.

Three engines are available: a rear-wheel drive 160 horsepower diesel, a four-wheel drive 210 horsepower diesel, and a lightning-fast four-wheel drive 280 horsepower petrol.

Alfa Romeo is offering the top model Competizione special series to please customers who desire the full Alfa Romeo experience to commemorate the new Giulia and Stelvio. It is based on the Veloce model and is available in all engine configurations. The top model stands out with its special Moon Light matt gray color, dark windows, and red calipers, and the Alfa Romeo Stelvio gets 21" rims in this edition. Furthermore, the Competizione models have a Harman/Kardon sound system and leather upholstery with red stitching on the seats, instrument panels, doors, and side Competizione emblems. The Competizione special series is the program's only model with Active Suspension. The system electronically adjusts the suspension based on the conditions and lets the driver choose between sporty and comfortable driving.
