The selected theme will be applied to the infotainment system, including the central touchscreen, the digital instrument cluster, and the head-up display.

Some of the apps available at launch include Amazon Music, Spotify, YouTube, Netflix, Tetris, Waze, Parkopedia, PlugShare, Google Calendar, AccuWeather, and CNN. The Audi App Store will constantly grow with new apps being added all the time.

Customers can access the Audi App Store via a separate MMI tile. They can browse through the available apps and select the ones they want to download. The apps selected by the customer will be installed in the MMI system seamlessly, without the need for a detour via a smartphone. The apps will be integrated into the MMI and can be used safely and reliably even while driving.

The Audi App Store is available on selected models with the third-generation modular infotainment toolkit (MIB 3), an advanced and powerful hardware and software platform that supports high-speed data processing, wireless connectivity, over-the-air updates, and cloud-based services. The MIB 3 platform also supports the native “Hey Audi” voice assistant and the integrated Amazon Alexa, which allow customers to control in-vehicle and home functions with “wake up” words.
