GAC presents first images of its high-performance electric sports car

GAC AION Hyper GT

The Guangzhou Auto Show will be online. Because there are more infections in the area, the board of directors has to cancel the event. However, the brands will still share their news on their websites or social networks. In the next few hours, many new car innovations are expected, like the new Yangwang electric SUV, the BYD luxury brand, and other noteworthy brands in the eastern country. One will be GAC, which has already shown the first pictures of its new model, a high-performance electric sports car called the GAC Aion Hyper GT.

It will look like the other cars made by the Chinese company, such as the GAC Aion Hyper SSR, an electric sports car that came out just a few months ago. It has very stylish headlights, and the front of the hood will make a very aerodynamic line. The electric car has a line on the side that looks like a coupe. This is similar to what we've seen on models like the Porsche Taycan or the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 SE Performance. On the other hand, no one knows how enormous its new six-spoke wheels will be, but they likely won't be smaller than 20 inches.

The back of the electric car will look very sporty and simple, with the LED headlights taking up most of the space. The lower part will have a big diffuser, and the trunk lid will have a spoiler that can be moved up and down. With a floating end zone, the C-pillar will have a unique design, though it will be similar to what you see on cars like the Lexus LC.

No specific inside pictures have been released, but it will likely have a lot of technology, like screens for instruments and entertainment. There is room for up to four people in the cabin.

The electric sports car will have a lot of exciting features, like front doors that open vertically. In terms of progress, the model will have many sensors, radars, and cameras to help it drive itself. People say that there are 39 parts to the ADAS system, including three LiDAR sensors. As a final detail, it will take on the company's new logo, which they have named "Eros Arrow."

The GAC Aion Hyper GT electric sports car will be based on the company's new AEP3.0 architecture. It will have one or two electric motors, giving it a range of power levels and specs, but the company hasn't said how much power it will have. The electric sedan can be charged quickly and use up to 480 kW of power. It will also have technology that lets you swap out batteries.

This electric car will be sold in China for 300,000 Yuan, which is about $43,000 at the current exchange rate. The Aion Hyper GT electric car will not come to Europe.
