The Polestar 6 electric sports car can be reserved online

According to the company, the Polestar 6 electric sports car will come out in 2026. From August 16, 2022, people in all markets where Polestar is already present will be able to book a Polestar 6 electric sports car online in advance.

Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar, said, "Because of the huge response from customers and the press, we've decided to make a lot of these beautiful roadster cars, and I can't wait to make it happen." The Polestar 6 is the perfect mix of powerful electric performance and feeling the wind with the top down.

The Polestar O2 electric roadster concept car was shown off in Los Angeles in March. It builds on the design, technology, and environmental goals of the Polestar Precept and shows how Polestar sees a future sports car.

The convertible hardtop is built on Polestar's bonded aluminum platform. The Polestar 6 electric sports car has the same robust 800-volt electrical architecture as the Polestar 5. The 2026 Polestar 6 electric car has up to 650 kW (884 hp) power and 900 Nm of torque. The electric vehicle should be able to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and can reach a top speed of 250 km/h. It should have a dual-motor drive train.

In the beginning, 500 numbered copies will be made as the "Polestar 6 LA Concept edition" to mark the launch of the market. They will have the original Polestar O2 concept car's unique "Sky" blue exterior, light leather interior, and unique 21-inch wheels.
